This week, BACKROADS PAC launched its Emergency Redistricting Fund to fight back against Republicans’ efforts to take back the majority. Here’s why it’s crucial that we hit our $18,800 goal this week:

Republicans control 188 seats in the redistricting process, and Democrats only control 72.
Republicans only need to flip five seats to take back the majority, which they could easily from redistricting alone.
If everyone votes the exact same way as they did in 2020, Democrats could still lose the House majority.
