I want to share my thoughts and perspectives on the amended Comp Plan we passed yesterday

Yesterday, the Council passed the amended Comprehensive Plan, a 1000-page document that guides the District's future growth and development. My staff and I hosted meetings for Advisory Neighborhood Commissioners and civic association leaders and met with a wide array of residents and organizations across Ward 5 throughout this process. I want to share with you a letter that contains pertinent items for Ward 5 residents and my thinking behind how I approached this legislation.
