John, thank you. As I reflect on all that I’m grateful for today — my 34th birthday — I am especially grateful to have you fighting alongside me in our people-powered movement.
Over the past year, this movement defied the odds and made history by electing me the first openly gay, Black member of Congress. Together, we’ve proven the naysayers wrong and hit the ground running, shaken up the status quo, delivered bold relief for American families, and showed people in power that Congress must do more.
And here’s the thing: we’re just getting started.
I’m taking a moment to celebrate today, but I’m also hard at work fighting for our progressive values and preparing for re-election. Redistricting is just a few months away. Can you make a contribution of $34 — or whatever you can afford — to ensure we can keep up this fight for working people in Congress?

Thank you again for your ongoing support. Representing the American people is an honor I did not believe possible until a few years ago.
I’m going to keep fighting for all of us.
Onward,
Mondaire
