John,

ASBC-SVC invites you to join us Wednesday, May 19 at 1pm ET Forging a Post-COVID Economy with Nature as our Guide with Sallie Calhoun (No Regrets Initiative ([link removed]) ) and Deborah Frieze (Boston Impact Initiative ([link removed]) ), moderated by Esther Park (Cienega Capital ([link removed]) ).

As the world considers how to build stronger and more just societies, can our economic system work more like nature, regenerating the systems that power its growth?

Join Deborah Frieze and Sallie Calhoun in an exploration of what happens when we apply biomimicry—the practice of taking inspiration from nature’s designs and processes to solve human problems—to today’s challenges in finance and investing. Together, we’ll investigate the implications this perspective has on how we define risk and return, account for labor, structure governance, control information, and more.
