We are proud to announce that US Senate candidate Maggie Toulouse Oliver has joined our slate for 2020. She will be standing alongside fellow mother and slatemate Paula Jean Swearengin. This election year is critical! Maggie brings a fierce advocacy background to the table, and her record of service to New Mexico is an asset to the BNC slate and to the future of our country.

Maggie is running to be the first woman representing New Mexico in the US Senate. As a single mom, from the age of 24, she worked her way through college, paycheck-to-paycheck, to build a better life for her family.

Maggie knows firsthand how difficult it is to live without affordable healthcare, and to be saddled with student loans because she wanted a better future for herself and her family. Since graduating, she’s worked every day to fight for the rights of the people, first as the Bernalillo County Clerk, and then the Secretary of State where she’s helped clean up state government, hold dark-money special interests accountable, expand and protect access to the ballot box, and oversee fair elections.

This powerhouse duo will have to cross thousands of miles to reach voters in their states. They are both working tirelessly to build strong grassroots campaigns on the ground to mobilize and get out the vote. Help us build a Brand New Senate by contributing today.
