One week ago I kicked off my organizing efforts in the reddest area of my district. I joined organizers who have been working to turn out the vote and prove that these areas are more than their partisan label would have you think.

That day proved that our campaign of love, empathy, hope, & results is catching on -- and the more we talk with folks, the stronger our movement becomes.

But my team tells me we’re behind on our quarterly fundraising. That means that when it comes time to release our FEC public finance report, journalists, potential endorsers, and even my opponent Madison Cawthorn will think we don’t have what it takes to beat him.
