Dear John,

As you know, counting all young Texas children ([link removed]) during the 2020 Census will be critical for securing adequate federal funding for our communities for Head Start, Early Childhood Intervention, child care subsidies, SNAP, Medicaid, and more.

To help ensure an accurate count, Texans Care for Children and the Center for Public Policy Priorities are teaming up to offer mini-grants to non-profits, community organizations, and local government agencies.

The mini-grants are intended to support a full and accurate count of young children, immigrant communities, and/or communities of color.

Thank you for helping ensure all Texas kids are counted in the 2020 Census!

Sincerely,
