I’m reaching out to all of Tim’s top supporters because we’re officially halfway through our first FEC quarter. I’m about to go into more detail about why that’s such a huge deal for our team, but first I have to ask for your help with our mid-quarter fundraising drive.

Ohio will be a battleground state for control of the Senate in 2022. This is going to be one of the most competitive and expensive races in the nation -- a Trump advisor has already put $10 million into a Super PAC dedicated to keeping this seat red!

That’s why our first FEC fundraising deadline is about more than making sure we have the budget to hire staff, set up campaign offices, and organize volunteers. Because in the age of Citizens United, money talks -- and the strength of campaigns is often judged by the size of their war chests.

From pundits to Mitch McConnell’s dark money buddies, all eyes are going to be on us. It’s critical that our first public fundraising report sends a message that we have what it takes to go up against the GOP fundraising machine.
