Dear John, President Biden is expected to release his proposed budget any day now, and we urgently need your help to make sure his proposal does NOT include the Hyde Amendment. For 45 long years, this shameful policy has penalized people with low incomes by withholding coverage for abortion care from those enrolled in Medicaid, who are disproportionately women of color. It’s long past time to wipe this discriminatory policy off the books.
