Cawthorn and his fellow Republicans have been spreading conspiracy theories about election fraud as an excuse to make it harder for people to vote.

But we know there wasn’t any fraud. Democratic activists have been organizing in their communities for years to engage and expand the electorate. That on-the-ground work delivered huge results when Georgia went blue for the first time in decades to elect Joe Biden -- then went on to elect two Democratic Senators.
