Since Democrats assumed the majority in the U.S. Senate earlier this year, we’ve been working hard to help the American people recover from the pandemic and build our country back even better than before.

First, we passed the American Rescue Plan -- a massive investment in those who suffered most during the COVID-19 pandemic, and some of the most progressive legislation in our country’s history.

And now, we’re getting to work on two new major plans that have the power to improve the lives of millions of people -- the American Jobs Plan and the American Families Plan. These packages could transform our country’s infrastructure and improve quality of life for families in every corner of our country.

Thanks to the Democratic majority that you helped deliver in 2020 and 2021, I’m confident that we can make an incredible difference in people’s lives -- and come through this pandemic to an even brighter future.  

But while we work every day to ensure we’re passing impactful legislation, we also know that our majority is too close for comfort. Without protecting our seats and sending even more Democrats to the Senate next year, it’s going to be difficult to continue improving the lives of American families.
