Dear John,

New Yorkers were forced to endure another week of Andrew Cuomo's pathetic diversion tactics and propaganda-style events in his ongoing attempt to cling to power. One constant remains clear: Andrew Cuomo is as corrupt as the day is long and needs to be removed from office. Since the lemmings in the Democrat-controlled legislature won't do it, it is up to us to remove him at the ballot box and that's why we are in full swing to ensure we have the strongest possible candidate to beat him in next year's election.

New York Republicans also had some great news this week with the reports that Congresswoman Elise Stefanik is poised to become the next House Conference Chair. There is no one better prepared for that role. She is the leader we need to help grow our ranks, communicate our message, deliver Republican victories, and fire Nancy Pelosi in 2022! Catch up on all the details in this week's edition of the NYGOP weekly newsletter.

We value all of your feedback and questions!

Don't forget to hit the button below and send in any questions you may have for Chairman Langworthy and we will feature one in next week's newsletter!

NYGOP Team
Question from Last Week:

From Debbie: What is the best way to get involved with local Republican politics?

Answer: This is a very important question! With local elections coming up this November, and our important statewide elections next year, we need every last volunteer to pitch in and help us elect Republicans up and down the New York ballot. There are two main ways to get involved: the first would be to reach out to your local county Republican committee and inform them you would like to be involved. A list of the counties and their contacts can be found on our website by clicking here. Secondly, you can sign up to volunteer on our website and we will let you know about opportunities to get involved as they arise. Click here to join our list.

On a final note, don't forget to share all of our messages by forwarding them to your friends or sharing them on Facebook so that we can grow our audience and get our message out to more New Yorkers. This is our last chance to Save our State and we are calling on all New Yorkers who believe in our mission to get involved TODAY!

NYGOP Must See News:
New York’s Republican leader on Tuesday blasted reports that disgraced ex-Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver has been released from prison.“The early release of Sheldon Silver is a gross miscarriage of justice and slap in the face to every New Yorker. He abused his power to personally profit to the tune of $4 million,” said NY GOP Chairman Nick Langworthy. “New Yorkers need to send a message that they are fed up with corrupt politicians escaping accountability while taxpayers are left holding the bag,” he added.

Rep. Elise Stefanik, a rising star in the Republican Party, is making calls and building support among her colleagues to become the next House GOP conference chair, several sources have told Fox News. "I suspect that within the next two weeks Elise Stefanik will be our conference chair," Rep. Lance Gooden, R-Texas, told Fox News Tuesday.

While Gov. Andrew Cuomo was securing a reported $4 million deal to write a book on his pandemic “leadership,” he and his staff were busy suppressing the truth about New York’s nursing-home deaths in the wake of the March 25 order that forced homes to admit COVID-contagious patients. And it now turns out the coverup was even worse than we’d thought. On top of blocking health officials from telling the truth, senior staffers also quashed a scientific paper that reported the true fatality total, The New York Times reported.

Fox News senior meteorologist Janice Dean weighed in on Cuomo’s comments in a statement on Monday, saying the governor has "some nerve" going after unvaccinated people visiting their elderly relatives amid his nursing home scandal. "He has some nerve shaming others for possibly endangering their grandparents," Dean said. "Over 15,000 elderly are no longer with us thanks in part to his deadly policy to re-admit infected patients into nursing homes. If anyone knows how to kill a grandma, it’s Andrew Cuomo." Dean became an outspoken critic of the governor's nursing home policies after both of her parents-in-law died of coronavirus in New York nursing homes.

Imagine a person caught in the act of burglary in an area where there have been a rash of burglaries and thefts. Police won't wait to take that person into custody because they need to further investigate the other crimes. Because they have probable cause that this suspect has committed a crime, they make the arrest and then continue the probe to see if additional charges are warranted. Such logic should be applied to the state Assembly's impeachment investigation of Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Instead, it seems that newly discovered impeachable offenses work in the governor's favor because it adds to the pile of matters the Assembly is reviewing.

President Biden has padded his administration with a number of individuals with strong ties to progressive groups who receive anonymous funding, including his chief of staff Ron Klain, which could provide a pipeline for the groups to push their agendas to the White House. Biden has surrounded himself with such individuals despite aligning with the left-wing flank by calling for "an end [to] dark money groups" on his campaign website. Klain, who has a long history with Biden dating back to the 1980s, now helps steer his political agenda from the Oval Office. Klain has ties to the Center for American Progress (CAP) Action Fund, a Washington, D.C.-based organization led by Hillary Clinton aide John Podesta. Klain for several years served on the group's board of directors, which does not disclose its donors in tax forms.
