The Arizona GOP is trying to overturn the 2020 election yet again, doubling down on their bizarre conspiracy theories -- and this time around they have a Capitol insurrectionist to help.
Former Arizona representative Anthony Kern, who took part in the Jan. 6 insurrection, is counting ballots in the Maricopa election audit this week in Phoenix. Kern, a former elected official and Trump delegate, joined the sham-audit along with other Trump-loyalists in an attempt to destroy confidence in the 2020 election.
We cannot allow the dangerous attempts by Arizona Republicans to overturn the results of the 2020 election to further erode confidence in our democratic institutions based entirely on their wild conspiracy theories.
That's why a coalition of elections experts are calling on the Justice Department to intervene in this deceitful and undemocratic audit.
