Hey friends
Now that Power Shift 2021 is over, we're going to take the month off from social media and email content to focus on our internal communications structure and goals. The 10-day-long virtual climate event taught us a lot about the ways we can grow as an organization and as individuals in the movement space. Part of what we learned is the topics that interest young people new and old to the space and how Power Shift Network can continue to have a hand in contributing to their ability to build power.

Turning our notifications off for the month will help us come back with more creativity and focus on what is important to us— the needs of our Network Members, amplifying youth leadership in the climate justice space, and building community with you all through important conversations about intersecting justice movements.
We can say rest is resistance all we want, but it's about putting it into practice. While we take this break, don’t hold back on emailing us about how you want to be connected to our work, the types of conversations you want to see us host, and more. In the meantime, check out the LANDFALL discussion series, “Puerto Rico As A Handbook For Our Times” and support the artists featured on our Power Shift 2021 website.
To making rest a practice,
Nathalie Peña, Digital Associate at Power Shift Network
