As one of HER Time's legislative priorities, we're pushing to expand Paid Family Leave. No one should lose an income to take care of a sick loved one or themselves. Instead, sick people should be encouraged to stay home.

That's why we're calling on the Senate to pass the Healthy Families Act, which would set a national standard for paid sick days. Should it pass, the bill would enable most employees to earn up to seven job-protected paid sick days each year.
