Tucker Carlson is dangerous.

He urged Americans to call the police on parents with children wearing masks in public. He said immigrants make us “poorer and dirtier.” He explicitly endorsed the white supremacist “Great Replacement” theory. This list goes on and on.

And his ratings keep going up.

Why it matters: Not only is the GOP fundraising off Tucker’s hate-filled rants, but right-wing extremists like Reps Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Sen. Ted Cruz are mimicking his dangerous rhetoric to grow the hateful, extremist wing of the Republican party.
