New Ad In Louisiana Hits Governor On Ex-Aide’s Harassment Scandal |
What Happened: |
Louisiana Democrat Gov. John Bel Edwards is taking heat for hiring an aide that he knew had a history of sexual harassment allegations against him. |
Why You Should Care: |
Where to begin? The aide - Johnny Anderson - had been accused of sexual harassment by at least six different women. John Bel Edwards hired him anyway. When Anderson started harassing a woman the governor’s office, Edwards used $100,000 in taxpayer money to make it go away. Seems like something Louisiana taxpayers should know about… |
What Happens Next: |
Edwards should explain to Louisianans why he hired an alleged predator to begin with - and then why he felt that using tax dollars to settle allegations of abuse that happened under his watch displays good leadership. So many questions, so few answers. |

Dem Rep. Adam Schiff Knew Of Complaint Before Whistleblower Filed It |
What Happened: |
A bombshell report released this week shows that Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff knew about the whistleblower’s complaint against President Trump BEFORE he or she officially filed it. |
Why You Should Care: |
Not only does this prove Schiff - the man in charge of leading the impeachment inquiry - was lying when he initially said his office had not spoken to the whistleblower, but it also raises serious questions about what Congressional Democrats knew, and when they knew it. Was there coordination all in an effort to take down the president? |
What Happens Next: |
Does anyone really know? |

Opinion: Fall Elections In These 3 States Are Critical For Taxpayers |
What Happened: |
All eyes are on elections in three states this fall - and what they’ll mean for economic growth. |
Why You Should Care: |
The GOP gubernatorial nominees in Kentucky and Mississippi have a track record of fighting tax hikes and building on the benefits of the federal tax cuts. In Louisiana, however, Democrat Gov. John Bel Edwards has raised taxes by a lot - which could explain why the Pelican State is the only state in the south missing out on job growth. |
What Happens Next: |
Voters go to the polls this fall to decide between candidates on the right who are pro-economic growth and candidates on the left who are pro-tax hikes. |
