This week Senate Committees will be considering bills that have significant public interest. The Finance Committee will take public testimony on Tuesday, May 4th regarding the state budget for the next two years. This is an opportunity to advocate for better state funding for public schools, local property tax relief, mental health care, early childhood education, disability services, violence prevention, law enforcement reforms and the many other services funded through the state budget. Below are instructions on how to register your support or opposition and offer written or oral testimony (see number 6. Next Town Hall – Biennial Budget and Legislation Review
