The results are in, and unfortunately they weren’t what we were hoping for. This race was never about me, it’s always been about YOU — the people of North Texas.

It has been such a privilege to meet you, hear what issues matter most to you, and build this grassroots movement together. To each and every one of you who block walked, chipped in, shared our posts on social media, and cheered us on — thank you. You made this possible.

Over the last few months, we have shown that Democrats can compete in every corner of TX-06. With a record number of candidates and high turnout across the district, y’all showed up and put in the work to move our communities forward. Because of y’all, I know the future in TX-06 is bright.

The fight for change in our community is an ongoing one, and I’m not giving up. Let’s keep working together to build a stronger Texas.
