John,

We are down to the wire! In approximately two and a half weeks, Allentown Democratic voters will choose one of four candidates in the primary election. In Allentown, residents vote overwhelmingly for Democrats. What that means is that the winner of this Democratic primary will likely be the winner of the general election in November — and the next mayor of Allentown.

We've built some incredible momentum and I couldn't be more proud. To date we've received 499 contributions from supporters in 63 different cities across 13 states. Our most frequent contribution amount? $25. That is true grassroots fundraising right there!

You can help us build more power by investing in my campaign today

I've also received 21 endorsements from organizations, unions, politicians, and community leaders — locally, statewide, and nationally — including my most recent endorsement from Emily's List.

What this tells us is that our platform, plans, and policies stand out. It also tells us that my experience and leadership in creating policy-based solutions is taken very seriously — no matter how badly other candidates would like to invalidate it. It's a tactic we so commonly see when men are threatened by strong women in politics — and it isn't working.

But John, a win doesn't come without costs — mailers, digital ads, paid canvassers, yard signs, fundraising software, utilities — all of these cost money.

We're so close to having the resources we need to hit this out of the park.

So, can you help us get there?

No matter where you are — Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Bethlehem — it's on all of us to help elect bold progressive leaders.

Thank you for being with me. I will always be proud to be fighting alongside you.

In solidarity,
Ce-Ce Gerlach

P.S. Tonight at 7:00pm ET you can catch me in a virtual mayoral forum hosted by POWER Lehigh Valley,  Promise Neighborhoods of the Lehigh Valley, and the Black Progress PAC. Register here to receive the Zoom link.

This morning, I was also honored to join the three other Democratic candidates for a Business Matters debate moderated by Tony Ianelli, CEO and President of the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. The debate will air on Monday, May 3rd from 7PM - 8PM only on 69 WFMZ-TV, so be sure to tune in.
