We need to explain to you why your $3 donation is so important.

When you make a $3 donation towards our 15,000 donation fundraising goal in April, you’re sending a message. You’re saying that you want the Senate to pass universal background checks and that you will fight for change so we can save lives.

And right now, this April fundraising deadline comes at an extremely important time.

News just broke that the Supreme Court will hear the first Second Amendment case since Justice Amy Coney Barrett was confirmed. This case has the potential to drastically change gun laws throughout the country.

Right now, the case involves a challenge to a New York law which requires “proper cause” for civilians to carry a handgun in public. If the court rules in the NRA’s favor, this proper cause could be voided—opening the door for more people to carry guns in public and endangering public safety in the process.

The NRA believes the majority of justices will side in their favor. We cannot let this case undo the years of work we’ve put into strengthening gun safety laws nationwide.

So before our deadline, we have to ask:
