This week, Tucker Carlson told his viewers to harass mask-wearers and report masked children to Child Protective Services. This is so dangerous, reckless, and absurd that it's almost laughable, right?
Well, we laughed at Trump before 2016. We're not laughing now.
Tucker is following the Trump playbook of culture war and white supremacy, and his audience of millions eats it up. He also has support from MAGA royalty. When Tucker refused to apologize for misogynistic remarks, Don Jr. applauded: "This is how you handle the outrage mob."
Let's not fool ourselves, Democrats: Tucker Carlson could realistically run for president in 2024.
By dividing the country with culture war and racism, Tucker is setting himself up to be the MAGA prince that follows Trump. Democrats cannot let this happen.
