The Census Bureau just announced the new number of Congressional seats per state based on the 2020 Census data. Now, state legislatures and commissioners will redraw the congressional maps for the next decade.

But get this: Republican legislatures across the country are prepared to draw the maps in their favor. With a slim Democratic Majority in the House, experts predict Republicans can take back the House JUST by using the redistricting process.

If you thought that was bad, hear this:

The maps Republicans draw this year will last for the next DECADE. We’ll be living with the consequences of gerrymandered maps until 2032.

That’s why our end-of-month deadline at Blue America Project is SO important. This is our chance to stop Republicans’ plot dead in its tracks and defend Congressional Democrats.
