ABC News: “First census numbers released, setting up contentious redistricting cycle”

I have a big update: The U.S. Census Bureau released new population data, which will inform nationwide redistricting that happens only once every decade -- and Washington Republicans hold an advantage.

The out-of-power party -- as the National GOP is -- typically stands to gain seats during the midterm elections. And that’s not all -- Republicans will control the redistricting process in more states than Democrats.

The race for the House Majority just became even more competitive. And that means our end-of-month goal just became that much more critical. If you’re able to spare a few dollars today, it would mean a lot to our campaign.
