Hey there,
Did you notice the patronizing tone John Kennedy took to talk down to and cut off Stacey Abrams while she spoke about Georgia's racist voter discrimination bill?
When Kennedy asked her why she stands in opposition to Georgia's Jim Crow 2.0, he incorrectly assumed that he could catch her unprepared. Boy, was he wrong.
Stacey has been hard at work for Georgia going up against the GOP and their restrictive voting rights bill that aimed to eliminate Sunday voting, no excuse absentee voting, automatic voter registration. But Stacey stopped them.
But Georgia Republicans aren't backing down and that's why we need Stacey Abrams as Georgia's next Governor. The far-right Georgia legislature has already given themselves the power to manipulate election rules for their own gain, to curtail voting rights by mandating longer lines, shorter voting periods, and even to prevent folks from being handed water while they wait in line to vote.
That's why we've created the Ready for Stacey Fund to help grow her movement into an unstoppable force that will kick Brian Kemp out of office, and beat back against the Republican efforts to further erode voting rights in Georgia.
