John --

Redistricting might become more of a challenge than we initially thought.

After analyzing the data, The Orange County Register reported that a Republican candidate in our "narrowly blue" district could "stand to gain" from California losing a congressional seat.

There's no telling exactly what could happen to our district lines. Unfortunately, there's a chance we won't find out which new voters we need to communicate with until early next year.

Rather than get caught flat-footed, we're shifting gears and laying groundwork to launch our field effort early to prepare for what's ahead. But we need your help:

John, will you chip in an urgent $3 toward our end-of-month deadline? We INCREASED our April goal by $10,000 in response to this news, and we're depending on your grassroots support to help Mike reach this mark.

We're confident that when voters hear about Mike's work representing this district in DC, there's no question who they will support.

But we'll be starting from scratch with some new voters, which means we need to communicate earlier than usual.

You've been so supportive of our efforts in the past -- but this is a new challenge that calls for additional resources. Chip in $3 to our fundraising goal now >> [link removed]
