Senator Kyrsten Sinema is proving once again that she doesn't value working people in Arizona. And the leaked footage of her speaking to the Arizona Chamber of Commerce proves it. Telling members that she makes decisions for the people of Arizona not by listening to her constituents, but by “listening to business leaders who will be impacted by these decisions.” Decisions like the PRO Act, which will be the largest expansion for the rights of workers in years.
For decades, Mitch McConnell and his GOP buddies have been passing anti-worker and anti-union legislation, systematically eroding worker rights, worker pay, and worker benefits in this country. Now, with a democratic majority in Congress and one of the most pro-union presidents in decades, it is not the time for Kyrsten Sinema to stand in the way of progress.
Friend, Senator Sinema's comments show exactly why we need to make it easier for workers in this country to organize and join unions. When workers are organized they have the political power to get politicians to listen to them and to fight for working people and not the ultra-wealthy. Senator Sinema has run in the opposite direction though, even telling the Greater Phoenix chamber of commerce that they can consider her their “personal concierge” when it comes to passing the legislation they desire.

We can't keep letting Kyrsten Sinema side with Mitch McConnell and big business. People deserve good jobs with family-sustaining wages and benefits, because we know that when workers and their families do better, we all do better.
