"Cash on hand" is perhaps the single-most important indicator of a campaign’s success.

Earlier this month we emailed you about Jeff Jackson — our moderate, white primary opponent who's aligned with the Democratic establishment.

Unfortunately (according to the most recent FEC data published last week), he outraised us in quarter 1 by a lot. Make a donation of $5 or more right now to help close the gap.

Jeff Jackson's cash on hand: $838,092.00.

Erica Smith's cash on hand: $93,372.72.

Total difference: $744,719.28.

"Cash on hand" is how much money a campaign actually has left in the bank — and is perhaps the single most important indicator of a campaign's success.

So if there's any chance of building a winning campaign to challenge the Democratic establishment and deliver for working families, we MUST increase our campaign's cash on hand as much as possible — starting right now at the beginning of quarter 2.

With all of this in mind, will you help Erica Smith for U.S. Senate expand our cash on hand by making a donation of $5 or more today? We must raise as much cash on hand as possible in order to grow our scrappy, insurgent moral movement for North Carolina.

In solidarity,

Team Erica Smith for U.S. Senate
