Mitch McConnell is STILL blocking all meaningful legislation on voting rights, health care, climate change, and gun control. And if Democrats don't immediately reform the filibuster, the Senate Grim Reaper will continue to prevent Joe Biden and Kamala Harris from passing their progressive agenda.
YOU stepped up big time in 2020, and again in January 2021 to elect Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock. Mitch McConnell is no longer in charge. Democrats CAN eliminate the filibuster immediately on their own.
Joe Biden wants to reform the filibuster. Chuck Schumer, Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren do too. Barack Obama has called the filibuster a “Jim Crow relic.” And AOC says it's “a cherished tool of segregationists.”
But Democratic Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema are all that stand in the way of ending the filibuster.
With just two undecided Democratic senators left to persuade, When Democrats Turn Out is working relentlessly to ramp up public pressure against Manchin and Sinema by placing ads in their states.
