There are few bad-name politicians that outshine Marco Rubio when it comes to protecting our environment. Here’s where his record stands:

He’s voted against critical environmental legislation like the Farm Bill and the clean energy tax credit. Instead, he voted for people (Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh) and bills that harm the environment.

He doesn’t believe the science on climate change. He went so far as to call the Clean Power Plan a “massive, illegal mandate” and even introduced two bills that would block it from being implemented.

He’s one of the top recipients of money from the Sugar industry, second only to Rick Scott, according to an analysis done by a Treasure Coast Newspaper. He may position himself as a fresh-face politician, but his deep sugar ties even frustrate conservatives.
