With each new case presented to the Supreme Court, the conservative justices stand ready to strike down any policy agenda President Biden signs into law. This would further gut the Affordable Care Act, set reproductive health care back 40 years, and solidify the white-nationalist viewpoints held by Donald Trump into law. That reality should serve as a wake up call for Democrats across the country, and it's more important than ever that Democrats act now to defend our democracy and expand the Supreme Court.

The GOP has weaponized the Supreme Court for years, and it's time for us to fight back. Our team is aggressively supporting Democrats who are taking action and supporting a recent proposal to expand the Supreme Court to 13 justices, which will have the effect of balancing the Court after the GOP broke years of precedent in the appointment process of Amy Coney Barrett and Neil Gorsuch.

So much of our ambitious policy agenda can be struck down because of the 6-3 majority conservatives hold on the court. Even if bills do overcome the obstructionism that progressives so often face in Congress, too many landmark pieces of legislation such as the ACA and others will die on the Supreme Court steps. We can't let that happen. We have a once in a generation opportunity to expand the court and we must not hesitate to take it. Will you take a stand with us?
