Tell the ILRC why you fight for immigrant rights for a chance to be featured during the ILRC’s 2021 Burton Awards
The 2021 Burton Awards will be held on Thursday, June 24 and is going virtual again this year. You can help us by recording and uploading a short (one minute or less) video telling us why you fight for immigrants and immigrant rights. We will compile your submissions to create a video to open the virtual 2021 Burton Awards.
Record yourself telling us why you fight for immigrant rights. You can say something like, “I fight for my parents.” “I fight for my community.” “I fight so others won’t have to.” “I fight because everyone deserves a chance to feel free and safe.”
You can also record yourself holding up a picture of those on whose behalf you are fighting, like your family or friends.
When you record your video, please make sure that you record yourself in landscape mode (your phone or tablet will be on its side, not straight up and down) and in a maximum of 1080p resolution (if it’s a higher resolution, the file size will be too large for us to use.) Check that the sound quality and lighting are good before uploading, too, and please do not use an artificial background filter.
Please submit your video by April 30 by uploading it to https://go.pardot.com/e/806863/request-5gyoxr5zgXzUYvOZYBXE/3dbsb/125791973?h=534d5przDNawO1dT-Xg4mjM00PzZQT63DViIlYlhbxQ
If you have any questions, please send them to [email protected] and [email protected].
Thank you in advance for your help with this project!
