Democrats saved a $2.6 billion project that would have employed 2,600 Georgians in Commerce. Brian Kemp does not get to take credit for that.

Team —

On Monday, Brian Kemp traveled to the SK Innovation Plant in Commerce, Georgia to celebrate the end of a contract dispute that threatened to shut down the South Korean EV battery plant project, putting 2,600 jobs and $2.6 billion in investments at risk.

Remember, this project only continues to exist because of the hard work of Georgia Senate Democrats, who intervened to help SK Innovation and LG Energy Solution settle their legal dispute.

Now, Kemp is doing a press run with the company's president as if HE were the one who saved the day in Commerce. No doubt, he will use this photo op to support his re-election bid in 2022. We have to be ready to stop his lies cold with our own ads explaining to rural Georgia voters what really happened.

We are still dedicated to our mission to galvanize rural Democratic voters in 2022 to support Democrats up and down the ballot, including in the race for Governor. This upcoming election will be our most important one yet, but we still need your support to fill up our warchest and begin production on the ads needed to fight Georgia Republicans' litany of lies about this, the All-Star Game debacle, January 6th, and more.

We need 10 donations from supporters living in and around 19125. Can you chip in $20 in a recurring or one-time donation to support our work today?

Brian Kemp and the Georgia GOP would have voters believe that they are the ones working hard for Georgians, and Democrats are the ones starting culture wars. We know these are lies, but if we don't fight back against them, they could be devastatingly effective during the 2022 election. Thank you for your support.
