As one of my strongest grassroots supporters I wanted to say “thank you” again for all you do. Also, I wanted you to be among the first people that I introduce to:

VoterPAC -- an organization committed to increasing voter registration in California's Central Valley. [[link removed]]

The Central Valley -- Fresno, Kern, Kings, and Tulare counties -- lags far behind the rest of California when it comes to voter registration and participation.

Across California, voter registration averages nearly 90% of eligible voters -- but in the Central Valley that drops to only 70-80%.

I know firsthand how this gap in registration impacts elections. And with Republicans ramping up voter suppression efforts across the country -- they’ve introduced more than 300 bills that would limit access to the polls, friend -- I know it’s more critical than ever before that we fight back.

That’s where VoterPAC comes in.

Our plan is to fight suppression with a Voter Outreach, Training, Education, and Registration (V.O.T.E.R) strategy. The goal is to register and rally our rising American Electorate - people of color and younger voters - in California’s Central Valley.

Now, more than ever, it’s critical to fight Republican voter suppression with registration. We have a historic opportunity at our fingertips -- and with a sustained and well-funded effort, I know we can turn the Valley blue once and for all.

I’m excited for this next chapter as we, together, continue to fight to make a positive difference in the lives of families here in the Valley, California, and our nation.
