On April 8, Greater Georgia hosted our Official Kickoff Event at PBR Atlanta at the Battery. Turnout was HUGE, and everyone had such a great time coming together for a casual happy hour.

During the event, Chairwoman Kelly Loeffler discussed the mission of Greater Georgia to register more voters, engage diverse communities, secure our elections process, and restore integrity and voter confidence.

"THE MLB'S UNFORCED ERROR COULD BE GEORGIA'S WALK OFF HOMERUN"
Loeffler Pens Op-Ed Supporting Local Businesses, Slamming MLB's Hypocrisy, Democrats' Misinformation Campaign
April 13, 2021 – Townhall

"... Sadly, Black-owned businesses will feel the economic fallout [of the MLB's decision]. 52 percent of Atlanta’s population is African-American, and nearly 30 percent of Atlanta’s businesses are Black-owned. These small businesses are rightfully now calling out the MLB and its selfish, hypocritical decision to move the game to Denver – a city with a significantly smaller minority population and more restrictive voting laws ... By buying tickets to a Braves game, dining at a restaurant near the stadium, we can support the small businesses and employees whose economic opportunities were canceled by the careless words of Stacey Abrams, Joe Biden, Raphael Warnock, and the MLB ..."

"MISLEADING NARRATIVES ABOUND ABOUT GEORGIA'S NEW VOTING LAW"
Loeffler Writes Op-Ed Exposing Democrats' Misinformation, Warning Against Eroding Voter Confidence
April 3, 2021 – Atlanta Journal-Constitution

"The mainstream media’s narrative about Georgia’s elections legislation, the Election Integrity Act, which expands voting, has been completely partisan and wrong ... Restoring faith and confidence in our elections isn’t a partisan issue and the majority of Georgians demanded more integrity, as data shows ... The consequence of a loss of faith in elections extends beyond those who already vote. Half a million Georgians who voted in the November election, did not vote in the January runoffs ... The sense that their vote doesn’t count – or that their voice isn’t important – leads millions of our neighbors to stay home. We now have more safeguards to ensure they are not discouraged or mistrustful ..."

"... If [Biden] bothered to read the law – the Election Integrity Act – he would see that it expands voting opportunities ... In fact, 74 percent of Georgians support having voter ID ... There was a real opportunity here to have a dialogue and ask questions about it, but he succumbed to the cancel culture, the pressure from Stacey Abrams and this orchestrated campaign to raise money ... and I commend the Masters for keeping things going. Companies are going to need a clause that's a 'Stacey Abrams Risk Factor' that, if they get involved in these politics, it could cost them revenues, customers, loyalty, brand equity, and so forth. So, this is an important learning moment to make sure that we have the right information before we make decisions that hurt hardworking Georgians, small businesses – 30 percent of whom are Black-owned ..."

Kelly Loeffler Rips Biden, Abrams for 'Orchestrated Campaign' to Misrepresent Voting Reform Bill
April 8, 2021 – Townhall

"Former Georgia Senator Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) slammed the "disinformation campaign" spearheaded by Democrats, on the state and national level, about the voting reform law signed by Governor Brian Kemp (R-GA) ... '[Biden's] comments [about boycotting Georgia] were incredibly irresponsible because he repeated misinformation that had been promulgated by Stacey Abrams, who's promoting a multi-million-dollar misinformation campaign here in Georgia and across the country to raise millions for herself and her voting organizations on the back of hardworking Georgians.' ..."

"We want more people to vote, and we want to make it easier for people to vote with confidence that their vote matters, that it counts, and that our elections have safeguards ... Our state is greater when everyone's voice is heard."
"[Democrats] are really trying to use this radical spending bill to transform America, and President Biden's been out lying about Georgia's Election Integrity Bill. That cost Georgians a $100-million opportunity ... It's absolutely time to call out the Left..."
