Last night 210 House Republicans -- all but 2 -- voted against the Paycheck Fairness Act.

Madison Cawthorn didn’t vote at all.

Women still earn just 82¢ of every dollar earned by men. Women of color earn even less -- as little as 53¢. The Paycheck Fairness Act would empower women to earn the wages they deserve and hold employers accountable.

Western North Carolina deserves a leader who shows up on the issues that matter. That’s why I’m leading a people-powered campaign to deliver real results for the hard-working men and women of Western North Carolina -- and that’s why I’m asking you to chip in and help elect a leader who will live up to our values.
