Fellow Conservative,

We urgently need your help in the fight to end infanticide.

Conservatives in the house are launching a discharge petition on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivor’s Protection Act (H.R. 619 <[link removed]>), an important pro-life bill to give medical care to babies who survive a botched abortion.

Currently, if an abortion procedure results with a child being born alive, it is legal for the medical practitioners performing the abortion to deny medical care to the infant and leave the baby to die, sometimes over the course of hours or days.

>>> Read Heritage Action’s fact sheet <[link removed]> setting the record straight on why this bill is needed.

Pro-abortion Pelosi controls the voting schedule on the House floor and has no intention of scheduling a vote for this crucial bill.

However, with a discharge petition, Members of Congress are able to bypass the Speaker of the House and bring the bill to the floor for a vote.

Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Fla.) is working with Rep. Wagner and Whip Steve Scalise to introduce a discharge petition. We need a majority of the House to sign onto this petition to force a vote on the floor.

>>> Contact your member of Congress today <[link removed]> and tell them to sign the discharge petition for H.R. 619, the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.
