We emailed you this morning about a fundraiser on Saturday, where Kevin McCarthy stood on stage with Donald Trump as they talked through their plan on taking back Congress in 2022 -- and the White House in 2024.
We know what this means. After all, Trump and McCarthy have remained pals even after the insurrection against our Capitol.
Despite Trump leaving office, the band of right-wing extremists is still working together. According to CNN, the duo headlined the event with Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, and former Trump White House aide Kellyanne Conway.
We had all hoped that after losing to Joe Biden that the band of extremists would go their separate ways. After all, they lost the White House, Senate, and House. But Kevin McCarthy has other plans -- he's going to work alongside Trump to take it back.
We can't pretend like Kevin McCarthy isn't preparing a war chest right now to take back the House. We know that all projections are telling us that he has a real shot at taking back a majority for the Republicans in 2022.
We can protect the House of Representatives from Kevin McCarthy and Trump -- but we're still short $2,148 if we want to counter Kevin's war chest and protect the House.
