Folks, Trump just endorsed my opponent Madison Cawthorn.

I’m not surprised Trump supports Cawthorn -- they peddle the same toxic mixture of self-promotion, racism, and lies. But this endorsement came a lot sooner than we expected and could have an outsize impact on our race if we don’t adjust accordingly.
I’ll explain more below, but here’s the bottom line: I’m asking you to chip in $5 to our Rapid Response Fund and make sure we have the resources to compete with Trump’s national network of donors.
Trump and Cawthorn follow the same divisive playbook. They blame everything on immigrants, people of color, and LGBTQ+ people -- and they make big, impossible promises that, when broken, only lead to more cynicism about government.
That’s why our movement is different, urgent, and necessary. A lot of folks in our district are struggling. I know that they don’t want any more false promises -- they want better lives for their families.
As County Commissioner, that’s what I promised and that’s what I delivered. I worked across the aisle to increase access to early childhood education and to expand programs to treat addiction. Those are real, tangible results that improve people’s lives and prove change is possible.
That’s how we’re going to win this race. No fear-mongering, no false promises. Just love, hope, empathy, and action.
But now, Trump’s endorsement is going to bring Madison Cawthorn a huge surge of national support and bolster his divisive strategy even more. Will you chip in $5 to help us bring real leadership to our district?
Forward,
Jasmine Beach-Ferrara
