We reached out to see how Democrats feel about Joe Biden's American Jobs Plan and the results are clear: we all agree we need to fix our infrastructure.

Biden's plan is ambitious. It will invest in our roads, bridges, railway networks, and public schools while creating jobs and growing a green economy -- and corporate taxes will pay for it.

But as MSNBC's Steve Benne put it, "Republicans know they don't like Biden's plan, and they're determined to turn people against it."

We know Republicans are powerful swayers of public opinion. Do you remember when Democrats passed a historic relief package to cut childhood poverty in half? Most Americans don't -- Fox News, OAN, and the rest of the GOP's media machine made sure of it.

Biden has delivered on two critical campaign promises in less than 100 days: sending help to working families with an expansive relief package and vaccinating millions of Americans.

Republicans have shifted the news cycle in their favor to overshadow those accomplishments with fear mongering and threats of an "immigrant invasion" at the border. Now, they want to use those same tactics to block Biden's next priority: the $2 trillion infrastructure plan.

The GOP will succeed in derailing this critical plan if we don't step in -- but we're running low on the funds we need to dispel Republican smears.
