The filibuster is Mitch McConnell's way of holding power in the Senate, despite Republicans being in the minority. This gives them the ability to reject every progressive bill from advancing through the House and landing on President Biden's desk. Eliminating the filibuster would be eliminating McConnell's notorious influence in Washington. By abolishing the filibuster, we could finally advance a progressive agenda that would help millions of Americans.
