Here's the deal: There are 70 rural congressional districts in our country, and Democrats only control eight of them. Republicans represent the remaining 89% yet, rural America is falling further and further behind—lacking in infrastructure, health care, and educational outcomes, and more. The GOP's policies are NOT cutting it.

I started BACKROADS PAC because I believe Democrats need to start competing in rural districts. For too long, our party has ignored rural communities and allowed Republicans to take control.
