We set a goal last week to get 45 people to step up and own a piece of this grassroots effort by chipping in -- and because of people like you, we beat that goal. But this is about so much more than numbers in a bank account.

When we launched Battleground Texas six years ago, we knew that if we wanted it to be successful, we’d need to build a community of people willing to fight for something that most thought to be impossible.

And today, Texas is being called a Battleground State by The New York Times, CNN, NPR, The New Republic, and national leaders in the Democratic Party.

This is all thanks to the work of volunteers across the state and to people like you helping to fund their efforts -- people who are ready to change the face of politics in Texas forever.

We couldn’t do this without you. Thank you so much.
