To put it simply, the filibuster will destroy the very foundations of our democracy.
 
Mitch McConnell and the GOP are using it as a threat against desperately needed election reform in the For The People Act, critical anti-discrimination protections in the Equality Act, and all-too-important union protections in the PRO Act.
 
In essence, McConnell and the GOP are working to increase voter suppression, discrimination, and worker abuses -- handing over the last vestiges of people power to the rich 1%.
 
Without the filibuster, Joe Biden's progressive agenda and infrastructure plan could sail through, infusing the economy with cash and jumpstarting a green revolution. So we need to rally Democrats to make that exact thing happen.
