Friend,

What's happening in Georgia is not right. Voting is one of our most fundamental rights as Americans. It’s the very pillar of our democracy. But Republicans in Georgia, New Hampshire and across the country are actively trying to take that right away.

During the 2020 elections, national Republicans engaged in blatant voter suppression, from making false claims of voter fraud to attempting to slow the delivery of absentee ballots, all in a desperate, failed attempt to stay in power. Now, Republicans in Georgia and other swing states are already passing laws to suppress voters in next year’s midterm elections.

This behavior is downright despicable, and it goes against everything our country stands for. After four years of Trumpism, our democracy is in urgent need of repair. We need to be increasing access to voting, not reducing it.

I’m ready to fight to protect every American’s fundamental right to vote, but I need to know that grassroots supporters like you are with me. Please, friend, take a second to respond before it’s too late:

Should we fight voter suppression?
