to bring new energy and ideas to DeKalb Super 6 CommissionJohn, today I'm asking you to join me in supporting the AFL-CIO National Day of Action for the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act.

The PRO Act passed out of the House on March 9 with bipartisan support - the Senate is our final obstacle to enacting one of the most dramatic and far-reaching overhauls of U.S. labor laws in decades.

When I ran for county commission in 2020, I ran on a pro-working families platform. The unions that represent workers in DeKalb County are fighting for better pay, better benefits, and better worker protections. There's no doubt in my mind that unions make our county, and our country, stronger.

John, will you join me and show the Senate that there are millions of Americans, across party lines who want to see workers' rights protected?

The PRO Act represents the most significant worker empowerment legislation since the Great Depression. And it's also a civil rights and economic stimulus bill.

If we can convince the Senate to pass this piece of vital legislation, working people will thrive for generations to come.
