Folks,
Madison Cawthorn’s recent hypocrisy is just the latest example of why our movement for compassionate, results-oriented leadership is so critical.

Madison Cawthorn celebrates Western North Carolina relief funds he voted against
I’ve said it since day one: I’m not interested in fighting with Madison Cawthorn -- I’m organizing this campaign to win big for the people of NC-11.
I’d like to think that when it comes to supporting the people of the district we call home, Madison Cawthorn and I could sit down, debate the issues, and find some common ground. But that’s not the approach to leadership that my opponent takes.
Cawthorn spent weeks spreading disinformation about the American Rescue Act, arguing that relief spending was wasteful. Now he’s celebrating the same relief that he just voted against.
How can we trust a leader who doesn’t believe in anything for longer than it will help him get ahead?
My faith teaches me to stand on the side of justice and alongside the vulnerable -- my LGBTQ+ family, our immigrant neighbors, our working families, our loved ones suffering from addiction. I serve as a County Commissioner to live into my values, build coalitions, and help those who need it. That’s what our community deserves.
I know the people of Western North Carolina need a representative they can rely on -- one whose record proves it. I’m asking you to chip in so that we can let folks in our district know that Madison Cawthorn voted against their relief funding -- and that new leadership is possible.
