Hi there,

NBC News reports that postal banking could save the USPS.

U.S. Postmaster General Louis DeJoy unveiled his 10-year plan for the USPS. The "Delivering for America" plan which claims to be a vision for the future that will help the USPS "achieve financial sustainability" includes higher postage rates and slower first class mail, but is says nothing about postal banking despite experts and congressional leaders stating that this could bring in billions of revenue to help stabilize the most beloved government agency.

Senators Bernie Sanders and Kirsten Gillibrand reintroduced the Postal Banking Act, and in a statement, Sen. Gillibrand said, “Postal banking is an elegant solution that would provide the USPS upwards of $9 billion a year in revenue and would address the high cost of being poor in America by eliminating payday loans, check cashing, and other predatory financial products."

Under DeJoy's leadership, we'll experience more delays jeopardizing access to so many resources that Americans have relied on to survive this pandemic -- medication, stimulus checks, bills, food stamps, and so much more. But we wholeheartedly support the Postal Banking Act -- and we know you care about the USPS, too, because you've been with us since the start of our fight against DeJoy. That's why we need to hear from you today:

Do you support Sen. Sanders and Sen. Gillibrand's plan to save the USPS?

YES!   NO

Thank you so much for taking our survey today. Your input is crucial for creating a better future for us all and applying the pressure we NEED to oust DeJoy and save the USPS.
