Hi there,
In an uncontrolled rant against his former coronavirus advisers, Donald Trump claimed Dr. Fauci is a "self-promoter" who "had bad policy decisions that would have left our country years away from an approved vaccine -- putting millions of lives at risk."
Ironic that the man who refused to secure more vaccines from Pfizer, is now blaming anyone and everyone for his failed leadership. Trump even claims "Dr. Fauci was incapable of pressing the FDA to move [the vaccine] through faster. I was the one to get it done."
Listen, Dr. Fauci has been a steady voice to follow throughout this crisis. He ensured the FDA followed every guideline before approving a vaccine that would go out to millions of Americans. He openly spoke out against Trump, at the risk of his own safety, to make sure every American had access to the information they needed to keep their families safe.
Now, he's leading the effort to control the pandemic with the Biden administration. We're not going to stand by while Trump disparages Dr. Fauci and attempts to rewrite history, but we need to know if engaged Democrats still stand with our most reliable public health leaders. Please, tell us:
