It's no surprise that a majority of Americans want Congress to pass universal background checks. Over 90% of Americans agree there should be a simple background check before acquiring a firearm.

We expect universal background checks to come up for a vote in the Senate in the coming weeks. So we need to show that Americans want this bill to pass immediately.

The Senate will only pass background checks if they believe the American people support it.

So in order to continue making progress, we need you to make your voice heard. We like to ask this from time to time, and especially now that we are so close to success. So what do you say?
